$18-19/hour 

Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

Be the voice patients hear first! As a Medical Clerk–Call Center, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our patients, helping create a positive experience from the very first call. You’ll assist patients with scheduling appointments, answering questions, verifying insurance, completing referrals, and connecting them with the right resources—all while helping them navigate their healthcare experience with professionalism and compassion. What you’ll do: 

• Screen incoming patient calls and provide prompt, courteous assistance
• Answer patient questions and forward calls to the appropriate personnel 
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments 
• Read and complete provider messages/request 
• Scan incoming medical documentation 
• Handle and sort incoming faxes
• Complete Record Request Forms and Medication Refill requests 
• Provide support to the Clerical Support team as needed 
  

What we’re looking for: 

• Medical office knowledge/experience is highly desirable 
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Experience working with an EHR system such as EPIC or Nextgen, or Medical Terminology is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 
• Positive, enthusiastic, and patient-focused attitude 
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable 

Schedule Requirements

Must be available to work within the health center's Monday–Friday operating hours.

This is a 40-hour workweek. Candidates must be available to work within the following hours: 

Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM 

Friday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM 

Your assigned schedule will fall within these operating hours.
