Employee Appreciation

DVCH strives to promote a positive work culture and continuous learning by improving the sense of teamwork and the level of support felt among our employees.

At DVCH, we align our philosophies with action. Our Employee Appreciation Committee leads several events to recognize our hardworking employees and honor their invaluable contributions in fulfilling our mission.

The DVCH Annual Employee Appreciation Event

Our DVCH employee community looks forward to our Annual Employee Appreciation Event. Each year this event boosts morale across the organization and provides new employees the opportunity to engage with staff members at all levels and from different departments. We want our teams from different sites to network and interact with each other, always building a sense of community and taking advantage of learning opportunities.

The annual Employee Appreciation Event also gives the Board of Directors and leadership a chance to honor individual employees who received awards for their achievements that year, ultimately presenting an award to the staff member chosen as DVCH’s "Outstanding Employee of the Year."

The “Way To Go” Program

Our “Way To Go” program is another Employee Appreciation Committee initiative that allows staff to recognize fellow team members for their daily work. All employees may acknowledge and nominate individuals for exceptional jobs daily by completing a “Way To Go” form submission for HR.

Ongoing Recognition

Celebrating employees that exceed expectations.

“Outstanding Employees” at DVCH are also recognized on an ongoing basis. We regularly reward those team members who show exemplary humanitarian effort, individual achievement, contribution, and performance in their work and other related duties beyond their job description.

We go above and beyond to provide exceptional patient care at DVCH. Our Employee Appreciation initiatives and events set a higher precedent for quality care and professional growth by acknowledging our people who take the extra mile – always staying true to our mission by improving the health of our patients and the community in the process.
