Medical Assistant jobs at DVCH can include:

Medical Assistant: – This role includes both administrative and clinical responsibilities such as greeting patients, checking patients in/out, scheduling appointments, handling high call volume, assisting with procedures, performing phlebotomy, and other basic medical assistant duties as requested by the Providers, Team Leaders, or Health Center Manager, all while providing upstanding care and respect to our patients.

Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant: – Medical Assistants work closely with our providers and patients. More specifically, they interview patients, measure vital signs, document all information in patients charts and assist the Providers in exam rooms. Additionally, they maintain logs, keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies and handle calls as appropriate.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA): – Checks patient in by taking vitals, assessing pain, obtaining medication allergies, and assessing the reason for patient visit and other assessments as required. Completes the appropriate electronic health record templates. Reviews patient chart, checks for any outstanding lab, x-ray results or any medical visits since last appointment.
