What you will do:

Duties include both administrative and clinical responsibilities such as greeting patients, checking patients in/out, scheduling appointments, handling high call volume, assisting with procedures, performing phlebotomy, and other basic medical assistant duties as requested by the Providers, Team Leaders, or Health Center Manager, all while providing upstanding care and respect to our patients.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND KNOWLEDGE: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Graduation of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be required. Must be able to present a positive and enthusiastic demeanor while directly working with patients.  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is primarily active in nature. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a busy multi-cultural ambulatory care setting. There is routine exposure to infectious disease and blood borne pathogens.
