What you will do:
The Human Resources Generalist II (HR Gen II) provides professional-level support across the full spectrum of human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, leave management, employee relations, HRIS management, and compliance. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, discretion, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The HR Gen II is expected to report to work reliably and on time and serve as a consistent, accessible point of contact for employees, leaders, and vendors.

Requirements

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit setting. 
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, UKG) and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred. 

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills. 
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism. 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, balance competing priorities, and solve problems independently. 
  • Must work effectively in a team setting and contribute to a positive and collaborative HR culture.
