What you will do:

The position is responsible for dispensing medications to and collecting co-pays from patients of the health center. This position also collaborates with health center management to create system-wide policies and procedures for operating the programs, and then work with health center staff to operate these programs.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program is required (will take experience into consideration).
  • Pharmacy Technician certification required.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of care team and other colleagues.
  • Ability to interpret and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to use good reasoning and judgment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrate good listening, customer service skills and attention to detail.
