What you will do: 

POSITION PURPOSE: This position’s primary responsibility is to purchase supplies and equipment for Delaware Valley Community Health. The position works closely with DVCH staff and outside vendors to ensure high-quality, low-cost purchases. Secondarily, this position will be responsible for clerical accounting and administrative duties.

Requirements

  • A High school diploma is required 
  • Some college or technical school training is preferred
  • Prior medical/healthcare purchasing experience is preferred
  • Superior customer service skills and excellent negotiation skills are required
  • Proficient with MS Excel, and on-line purchasing system experience is needed
  • Experience with MAS-90 a plus


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is primarily sedentary in nature. Long periods of time may be spent at a computer terminal. 


WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is primarily performed in an office setting. There is minimal exposure to infectious disease and blood borne pathogens.
